Nava: Thanks for this site - it says all I've been thinking for years. At my art, music and drama college in England education was predicated upon these ideas....and that was over 50 years ago, and education authorities haven't learned or implemented them yet!!!
What a marvelous speech. Thank you for sharing it. Now I am off to see if his book was ever finished and published. He must have been a fabulous professor.
Valerie, why would they bother? it's so much easier teach dry facts rather than what's important. And, of what I see, the human race is always going for the easy ways, not the smart ones, regardless of the future implications.
Formerly a hi-tech engineer, now an emerging artist on the quest for my own voice. People are my favorite subject matter, and I am always on the hunt with my camera, pencil or sable brush.
